House Of His Glory (HOHG) – RCCG House of His Glory Lekki
House Of His Glory (HOHG)

The Church

RCCG, House of His Glory is a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Lagos Province 15 under the leadership of Pastor Adeola Mensah as Pastor in Charge of the Province. The church is one of the parishes in the Apapa Family of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
House of His Glory currently serves as the Area parish of Area 008 of Lagos Province 15 with other parishes in the Area being situated in Ilupeju and Mushin, Lagos. God is enabling us to plant additional parishes in the Area in the last few years and enlarging our territory in several areas.

Our History

House of His Glory was founded in July 2012 when Pastor Sesan Sobowale and his family, having relocated his residence to Lekki from Lagos Mainland received a mandate from Pastor Adeola Mensah to start a new parish in the Lekki neighbourhood. The church started in the sitting room of Pastor Sobowale’s residence at Bourdillon Court, Chevron Drive, Lekki, with himself and his family the first congregation.
A year later, God led the church to its present location at Moba Village in Lekki Phase II, on a parcel of land donated to the mission. After a few months of preparation of the facilities, an inaugural service was held at the present site on 3rd November 2013.

God was faithful to his church as He brought vision helpers, workers and congregation in significant numbers. Today, the adult church has moved into a big tent with capacity for 400 worshippers and we have freed up more space for the children and the teenagers who constitute a greater proportion of the membership of the church.

Our Vision

We have a vision to raise a people of excellence, who will fulfil their God-given destinies, impact their environment positively after the manner of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and will raise up a crop of disciples continuously being transformed for the glory of God (II Chronicles 6:12 – 7:3). To achieve this vision, our parish will be known for the following:
•    House of His Glory will be a House of Prayer: Prayer will be at the heart of all we do!

•    House of His Glory will be a place of People: We will offer refuge to saints and sinners alike and our doors will be continuously open for everyone who seeks the Lord.

•    House of His Glory will be a place of Power: The miraculous power of God to save, to heal, to deliver, to encourage and to refresh through the word of God will be ever present in this house!

•    House of His Glory will be a Place of Praise: We will continually offer a sacrifice of praise unto our God and worship God in adoration for all that He is!

We aim to be a friendly, welcoming Church where people of all ages can joyfully take part in worship, prayer and fellowship as they grow together in faith. We will be known as a caring Church, reaching out to and serving God and our community while encouraging others to join us in hearing God’s word and having a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
