Pastor Sesan Sobowale is the current pastor of RCCG, House of His Glory. He is a lawyer by training and an executive of a listed manufacturing company by vocation. He joined RCCG, Apapa Parish in 1994, out of curiosity. His friends from the university who he was sharing a flat in Palmgrove, Lagos suddenly seemed to have been consumed by a passion for “church work” which they prioritized above all else and he wanted to find out what they were being fed in their new, “strange” church in Surulere. One thing led to another and he joined his friends in a missionary outreach to the Lagos State University and later became a worker in Apapa Parish in 1996. He was sent out as a pioneer worker of a new parish, Liberty Christian Centre (later renamed ‘Pentecost Revival Centre’ now on Adeniran Ogunsanya Street, in Surulere).
Pastor Sesan Sobowale later joined RCCG, Church of the Nazarene, Ilupeju as a worker and was named Pastor in charge of the parish in December 2006. He was transferred to another parish in the Ilupeju environment, RCCG, The Rock’s Place in September 2010 and he pastored the church until July 2012 when he left to start RCCG, House of His Glory.
Pastor Sesan Sobowale is assisted by his wife of almost 20 years, Olufunke Sobowale (an ordained Assistant Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, who became a worker in RCCG, Apapa Parish in 1992) and a growing number of young Christians, with a passion to serve God and a commitment to the things of God leading different areas of the ministry.
Pastors Sesan and Olufunke Sobowale are blessed with three children – Oluwapelumi, Oluwaseyifunmi and Oluwatamilore Sobowale.
